Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard

The new Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard in London was built as a fit out of existing floor plates in the Shard tower. Bryden Wood carried out a detailed MEP design analysis using BIM software, assessing interfaces with the existing facility using a laser point cloud survey which captured the location of existing elements to sub-millimeter accuracy.
Bryden Wood also carried out a tolerance and quality review of installed finishes using the laser point cloud survey, detailed design information and site inspection.
